JDM Parts Direct from Japan Guide 8)

Well here's the deal, since I'm in the heart of Japan I can get pretty much anything you need or want. I can get all the top brands or if you have a JDM vehicle I can get any OEM part you need.
Many people think it's a long wait or hassle to get JDM aftermarket or OEM parts but it's not as long as you know the process. So I decided to make a guideline to the process of getting parts you need. This might seem like a long process but it's quite easy however, I want to make the process as transparent as possible for you guys. This is a great service which has alot of flexibility, especially with used parts.

SHIPPING (applies to New and Used parts)
JAPAN POST (Air Mail)
I used Japan Post because it's the fastest (About 7 business days to NS)and most reliable shipping with tracking.
They have ground shipping but has no tracking but it's cheap.
So their restrictions are as follows:
Max weight = 30kg, Max TOTAL size = 3m, MAX Length = 1.5m

For larger items we'll sync up with our car importer Gabe, so when he has a container comming to NS we can get the parts sent with him. So we'll keep you posted when that's available.

PART ORDERING PROCESS

NEW parts ( Aftermarket / OEM )
(Basically like at home call the supplier get a price give it to you.)

1- Request (email / pm) as usual and I get a price for you.
2- Payment via Paypal (prefered) but Visa / MC also accepted if needed.
3- Part ordered then shipped to your address or Driftnami's address.

USED Parts
(Little more hunting, I use used shops and auctions here in Japan. Requires more buyer, seller communication but definatly worth it.)

1- Request (email / pm ) and I can do a search.
2- Once item is found either full payment or an initial deposit (50%) is required to purchase the item. Note: The initial price and 50% deposit is based on the item's purchase price and estimated shipping cost.
3- On arrival to me the item(s) is inspected since some shops have a week return policy if the item is bad.
4- Final weight is taken and shipping cost is adjusted (if required). Note: The adjustments are for larger, heavier items but the adjustments usually only range from 20$ - 50$MAX. However same goes if I over estimated the remainder will be deducted from the remaining total.
5- After balance is paid the item will be shipped to customer's address or Driftnami's address.

Notes (Important)
***With the Deposit the customer has some options, if inital item(s) happen to sell before I can purchase them then the deposit can be used to purchase another item of the same price. Since used part prices vary if the item happens to be slightly more expensive, I will contact the customer for approval. When given the OK I will purchase the item and then make the adjustments to the final cost.
***All used items are inspected however are sold as-is since they are used***
***50% deposit is non refundable UNLESS:
-I can return the item due to item fault or item description error.
-The item has not yet been purchased.
***In order for me to ship directy to your address the item must be payed in full within 2 weeks , of the intial purchase date (This due to limited storage), after that it will be shipped to our Halifax location where it can be payed for and picked up. If the item cannot be picked up and requires postage from our shop location, aside from us delivering it to you, then further shipping fees apply.***
***If item is not payed for in full within 3 months, of the intial purchase date, the item is subject to be sold unless other arrangments have been made.***

I've been away because of my new born baby but I'm back in business and have been busting my ass to catch up.

I'm getting the OEM Part catologues for all the JDM vehicles out there, I already have Nissan's, next Honda, then Toyota. etc

So this is especially great for the JDM car owners or potential JDM car owners.

Just remember if it out there I can get it, just might take more digging lol.

A catolouge is a great idea..It is much more easier to see JDM parts for your car then it is to think em up..With that being said, I have a request..PM sent..

I would love to do a catologue but it's damn near impossible. However, what I plan to do is post up some items I find with the price to get it to your door. Now the only thing is with used parts its kind of a race sometimes. Hence the deposit for used gear.

I use the auctions alot in Japan and the used shops.

I'll be posting up some stuff that'll get you mouths watering lol.

I'm putting the JDM new / used parts on the website so it's easy to view with pics and descriptions with a detailed price. I'm still working on the shipping option so I can put ground shipping in and EMS shipping.

For now if the item looks a little heavy such as turbos or cam etc etc and the shipping is under 50$ then the shipping is for ground shipping most likely. I'll have both shipping option on the website soon.

Small items are going to be automatically EMS since it's a tracking / insured service unlike the Ground service. However Japan post regardless of the service is quite dependable.

Check the stuff out some of this stuff sells quickly which is the reason I accept the deposits for items.

Anyhow I'd like to see some interest in the JDM stuff. Let me know if you want something.
